We've Selected San Francisco Solano as our Wedding Site

February 19th, 2005

San Francisco Solano is located in East Rancho Santa Margarita in South Orange County. Solano is located just outside of the Trabuco Canyon boundaries and is about two miles from Dove Canyon - the location of our reception site. Solano is a fairly new parish and is built in the Spanish adobe style that is common in and around Trabuco Canyon. The interior is modern and incorporates lots of wood and stone in its architecture. Besides the nice mountain and canyon views and the rustic feel of the church, we like the parish because it reminds us of Mission San Francisco de Solano, which is the last mission on the California Mission Trail. The 'old' Mission Solano is located in the heart of Sonoma - one of our favorite getaway spots.
